Teach Children About Jesus With A One Day Party
If you can’t be a part of a local After-School Good News Club, that doesn’t mean you can’t teach children about Jesus where you live. When Good News Clubs first started, teachers were trained to teach and reach neighborhood children for Jesus in their homes. Why not plan a party club once-a-month or once-a-quarter?
The process is this:
- Decide on a reason for a party: Back-to-School, Holiday, Seasonal.
- Choose and order one of CEF’s ready-made party clubs from CEF Press: by phone 800-748-7710 (8-4) central time or online https://cefpress.com/.
- Gather 2-3 adults/teens to help and decide who will teach each part: Bible Story, Memory Verse, Songs, Games.
- Plan for refreshments before the club if after-school, at the end of club otherwise.
- Pass out paper invitations to your neighborhood. Ring doorbells and introduce yourself to neighbors you don’t know.
- Have BUNCHES OF FUN with a 1.5 hour party for kids!
Plan now for your Back-to-School or Fall Party Club. You may never know how God will use His Word and your love for children to reach one of “the least of these”.
