It has been said that a child of 5 has the greatest faith, a whole-hearted
faith and confidence in someone or something.

Faith is being sure of what they (children) hope for and
certain of what they (children) do not see. (11:1)

By faith a child can understand that
the universe was formed at God’s command, so that
what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (11:3)

By faith a child can be like Abel,
obeying God’s instructions and being
commended as a righteous boy or girl. (11:4)
Children who obey God are rewarded.

By faith a child can be like Noah,
being faithful to God,
doing what He says with Holy Fear. (11:7)
Children who are faithful to God cherish His faithfulness.

By faith a child can be like Abraham,
willing to go wherever God leads,
knowing that God goes with us step by step. (11:11-19)
Children who trust God will be blessed by His guidance.

By faith a child can be like Daniel,
praying for God’s wisdom and protection,
experiencing deliverance from fire and lions. (11:33)
Children who trust God know Him and His resurrection power.

By faith a child can be like Moses
regarding disgrace for the sake of Christ as of
greater value than the treasures of Egypt. (11:26)
Children who put Christ first keep eternity’s values in view.
