What is it like at the state-wide CEF of VA Christian Youth in Action Camp?

In the classroom

Listening intently!

During the day teens are doing classwork, eating, practicing for a graded presentation, eating, having a bit of free time, eating, gathering for worship…
…and then finally dropping into bed to sleep!

Each night after supper, a team of seasoned CYIA’ers – those who have already taught as summer missionaries – presents one full day of the 5-Day Club teaching to the group. By day 5 of camp, all the teens have experienced the entire week’s teaching of this year’s 5-Day Club just as an audience of children would.

The older teens cheer on the younger. This mentoring is powerful! Lifelong friendships are formed. The Lord’s presence is keenly felt – especially at the Friday night campfire when the teens share testimonies of what God has taught them through the week.

These photos are just a sample of what this year’s CYIA week at Eagle Eyrie, Lynchburg, June 16-21, looked like. Seeds were planted. Pray for a harvest!
