Katherine, the music teacher at Blayton Elementary School heard about the after-school Good News Clubs and wanted one for her students. In coordination with CEF of Peninsula staff, she decided to start a Christmas Party Club. Hopefully, parents would sign children up for a party about the true meaning of Christmas!?
To her surprise, over 25 children came to that first party club! The children had fun, and several parents came to see what it was all about.
By February the following year, her Good News Club (GNC) team was ready to teach the gospel message to children one day a week after school. Parents signed their children up. That was in 2017, and the Blayton GNC is still going strong! All praise to God for giving Katherine a vision and fulfilling her wish to tell “her kids” about Jesus.
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is again reaching out to churches and individuals who have the same desire – to go and tell children the true meaning of Christmas.
To make it easy to get started, CEF of Peninsula is providing FREE Christmas Party Club training on Nov 9th . We will walk you through the process from invitations to Bible lesson, songs, and games – including demos. For more details, see below.
May the Lord give each one of us the passion for children that becomes action.
