Two 5-Day Clubs in June
Our summer ministry of week-long 5-Day Clubs (5DC) started the last week of June in two locations.
Williamsburg
The teens who trained for a week in CYIA camp at Eagle Eyrie put their training to the test with a home club in Jacquie’s backyard. Only two dear children came, but the team gave them their full attention and a week of fun!
Dianne Tate, the 5DC organizer, reported both children were counseled, but not ready to trust Jesus as Savior. “John and Fiona went through the Wordless Book, gave them a little Bible and the Jesus Loves Me pamphlet.”
Jacquie is a new volunteer with the Laurel Lane Good News Club. Seeing the 5DC teens in action gave her more confidence going into the school year ahead.
Northumberland
Kevin and Judy Mooers, Committee members and CEF trainers, led a 5DC at their church, with 18 children attending. Praise the Lord!
