A Child’s Devotion
The Good News Club’s mission is not only to tell children God’s message of salvation, but to help them grow as believers once they trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
To encourage listening and talking to God each day, GNC-ers are sent home with a Quiet Time devotion sheet. Through fun activities kids are challenged to 1) read, 2) think, and 3) pray about what they learned in club that week.
One 3rd grade girl was diligent to complete her Quiet Time devotions each week. She is an artist. She also clearly understood what mercy means. Her small group leader was touched and said, “I needed to read these words and apply it to a situation in my life.”
